FORT WORTH, TEXAS, (July 29, 2016) - Tom Buxton, president and CEO of Buxton, has been selected for the inaugural class of the Fort Worth Business Press Entrepreneur Hall of Fame.
The prestigious award recognizes successful entrepreneurs who have made a powerful impact in their industries. Buxton will be recognized at the 2016 Fort Worth Business Press Entrepreneur Summit on TCU’s campus on July 29.
In 1994, Buxton left a two-decade career at Tandy/Radio Shack to provide customer and location growth solutions to businesses. Today, his company’s predictive analytics solutions and Buxton Analytics Platform have helped more than 3,500 clients in the retail, restaurant, health care, private equity and public sector categories.
“Tom Buxton broke the mold,” said Richard L. Connor, president and publisher of Fort Worth Business Press and CEO Magazine. “He left a big company – Radio Shack – with support staff to go out on his own and build the premier data company in the country.”
