Red Light Method Success Story
Allison Beardsley, founder of Red Light Method, shares how Buxton's customer insights are empowering her new franchise venture. With detailed insights into customer behavior and demographics, Buxton has helped Red Light Method secure 26 territories within six months.
My name is Allison Beardsley. I'm the founder of Red Light Method and the founder of the Club Pilates brand. My current franchise company is Red Light Method, and it's a hybrid boutique spa fitness concept. We combine red light therapy body contouring treatments with Pilates, Power Plate, and sauna.
Why did you introduce analytics early in Red Light Method’s growth?
Analytics is super important in, the early stages of a franchise company and its growth, which is why we went with Buxton at Red Light Method. I was always taught from my mentors, "in god we trust, but show me the data." The data is so important. This is my second franchise company. Being that this is my second rodeo, not my first, I was blessed to know that I needed Buxton in our startup stages. The information is completely invaluable for analytics and for site selection.
What are the primary ways Red Light Method uses Buxton?
The software at Buxton is very important with driving growth because it allows us to analyze who our members are, see where they're coming from, how far they drive, and the different socioeconomic considerations that are super important when purchasing a franchise or when becoming a franchise partner. If you are looking if you're a franchisee or if you're a franchisor, you want to have this kind of data and analytics to help. Like the first thing I said, “in god we trust, but show me the data.” Buxton just rocks it on the data.
How has partnering with Buxton helped Red Light Method?
Buxton is helping Red Light Method in our early stages of growth. We just launched our franchise company six months ago, and so far, we have twenty six territories signed. Partnering with Buxton was a no brainer, and the solutions offer so much more than other companies.
For an example, I can click on any location of a similar kind of concept, and Buxton loads that data into the portal. I can see by dots and metrics, where are the members from that certain location? Where do they live? Where are they coming from? What's the average drive time that people drive to a location in Naples versus one in Detroit, and it's a big difference. The average drive time in the Michigan area is around thirty three minutes, and in Naples, it's thirteen minutes. This kind of information is crucial with franchising, which is why Red Light Method has partnered with Buxton.
What would you tell other founders about Buxton?
If you're a founder and you're considering Buxton, it is worth it. You're getting your first locations in the absolute best real estate, the best demographics, and being able to understand who your member or client is so important. I highly recommend Buxton. I've compared other companies because I've seen them for pennies on the dollar, but they don't offer that real life data that you get with Buxton.
